Baby, Wooden Toyset

The Babys systems have been developed to cover all the playing age groups from 1 to 12 years. The smallest elements of the systems are 48 mm long (according to the toystandard the toy can't be smaller than 28 mm).The construction is based on twosided drilled elements, on which new elements are settled by using loose directive dowels. There are almost thirty different elements. Specialities of these systems are elastic friction joint dowels and wheel and coach joining constructions.
There are three different packing sizes. In addition to the basic packing the systems can be completed and make more versatile by different additional series.
These systems have been developed from 1996 and they have been tested in Finnish and English nurseries.
The raw materials of the Baby systems are natual resources. Birch and other hard leafy trees can be used as raw materials. The surface of the Baby toysets have not been treated.
Description
Our toysets are three dimensionally operating wooden toysets. Our innovation partner, MH-Invention developed already on 1970 decade for Palicca and its parts a new coupling system. At that phase we found the basic mathematical code for three dimensional constructions.It is based on 30 x 30 x 45 mm basic brick. Its possibilities are multiplied when a triangle brick is added.
The child's imagination can work when the system is easy to use and the construction is easy for variations. This is sensible way of building for a child.
The three dimensionality means that there are lots of elements. 500 pc element box is a very good start for a child.
A three dimensional building is a natural way to realize the need of building something. A child usually loves wood and simple forms. The product shall also be safety and enjoyable to handle.
